Abstract

This study aimed to measure the level of effective management and the degree of success of Scout sports programs, as well as to identify the nature of the relationship between them. The descriptive approach was employed using a survey method and correlational analysis. The research sample was intentionally selected from students participating in Scout sports programs in Basra Governorate. Two standardized scales were constructed to measure the study variables, and their validity and reliability indicators were verified.

The results revealed that the level of effective management was at a “Average” level, while the level of success of Scout sports programs was rated as “good,” indicating a positive relationship between the efficiency of managerial practices and the success of the programs.

These findings emphasize the importance of developing administrative aspects within Scout sports programs, given their direct role in improving performance and achieving educational and athletic objectives. The study also highlights the necessity of focusing on planning, organization, and follow-up as essential factors in supporting the success of Scout programs within the school environment.
