The reality of the achievement of players in sports talent care centers in tennis in some special physical characteristics and functional variables

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the relationship between achievement reality and specific physical characteristics and functional variables among talented tennis players. The researcher employed a descriptive approach to align with the research's nature. The research sample consisted of 25 players from sports talent care centers in tennis.

After conducting tests within the designated period, the researcher found significant correlations between players' rankings and their results in physical and functional tests. Notably, there was a strong and significant relationship observed between arm reaction speed test performance and achievement.

The researcher recommends developing training regimens incorporating physical exercises that target the relationships between physical attributes and functional characteristics.
