Statistical form variables (Scouting) and their relationship to the ranking of teams for the Iraqi Premier League in the golden square of basketball

This section contained the introduction and the importance of the research, as the introduction dealt with that the world basketball leagues depend on special statistics based on finding the best players in the games and exploring the best of them by dividing them according to the places of play and this exploratory statistic depends on some points on which the statistical or exploratory program is based on the number of correct handling or correct scoring or cutting balls or stealing them from the opponent and the number of points recorded for each player in addition to many variables  The  research also aims  to identify the values of the  variables in the statistical form for the clubs participating in the golden square in the Iraqi Premier Basketball League and to identify the results of the relationship between the variables of the statistical form (SCOUTING) with the ranking of the winning teams within the golden square in the Iraqi Premier League basketball.

Part Two Theoretical Studies:

The second section included theoretical studies related to the subject of research through the available Arab and foreign sources, which were determined by the statistical form, basketball and its basic skills.

Part Three Research Methodology and Field Procedures:

This section contained the research methodology and field procedures, as the researcher used the descriptive approach in the survey method, and the research sample was selected in a deliberate way, which included (4) clubs from the Golden Square in the Iraqi Basketball League for the season 2021-2022, in addition to conducting exploratory experiments, in addition to that it included the most important statistical treatments appropriate for research.

Chapter IV Presentation, Analysis and Discussion of Results:

The fourth section included the presentation and analysis of the results and processing them statistically and then classified in a set of tables and illustrative graphs for the purpose of discussing them in a precise scientific manner to reach a discussion that achieves the objectives of the research.

Part V Conclusions and recommendations The most important conclusions were:

1. 1. The statistical form is of great importance to the team, as it enables the coach to know the strengths and weaknesses in the performance levels of each player, whether for his team or the opposing team, and thus develop plans that he can develop and ensure winning the match.
2. 2. One of the most important variables of the statistical form is the effectiveness followed by the offensive follow-up of the players as it is crucial to score points and win the match, and this is what the Baghdad Oil Club team, which won first place, achieved as it came with the highest evaluation of the effectiveness of the players .
3. 3. The Police Club was distinguished by the variables of assists and free throw with the highest value in the statistical form, as it was one of the most important reasons for obtaining second place.
