Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to formulate psychological mental practice exercises, implement them among futsal players, and assess their impact on enhancing complex attacking skills. Employing the experimental method and creating two equivalent groups, the research community comprises futsal players from Al-Muthanna Governorate, specifically Uruk Sports Club, aged between 15 and 17, totaling 20 players. These participants were evenly divided into an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 10 players.

To ensure statistical parity between the groups despite the varying ages of the subjects, the researcher allocated study participants based on their age. The research variables focused on complex offensive skills, including control, shooting, dribbling, and passing. Pre-tests were administered to the research sample to confirm homogeneity and equality between the groups. Subsequently, the researcher implemented the prepared exercises on the experimental group over an eight-week period, comprising three training units per week and totaling 24 training units. Post-tests were then conducted to assess the outcomes.

Statistical analysis using the SPSS program revealed that mental psychological practice has a positive effect on the development of all research variables. The results indicated superior performance in all research variables for the experimental group compared to the control group.
