The research aims to identify the effect of mini-match training with goal difference on some special physical variables and tactical strategies for young football players. An experimental approach was used. This is due to its suitability to the aim and hypotheses of the research, using an experimental design of two groups, one experimental and the other control, and the number of each group was 25 youth. The researcher also relied on the tools and means that work to achieve the research aim, including the reference survey, observation and tests, and the proposed mini-match training program was applied to Juniors of the experimental group for three months and three training units per week. The most important results were that the mini-match training program proposed in this study led to the experimental group being superior to the control group in some variables, the most important of which are (motor flexibility, the skill of controlling the ball with the sole of the foot). The skill of accurately passing with the sole of the foot within 30 seconds, the skill of hitting the ball with the head for the furthest distance), and the mini-match training program proposed in this study led to an increase in all rates of improvement in physical variables and tactical sentences for the experimental group in a way that exceeds the rates of improvement for the control group that was used. The followed (traditional) program, and therefore the researcher recommends the necessity of using the mini-match training program under study in the educational and training programs for junior football players in Iraq.
