Abstract

This study aims to achieve the following objectives: Identifying the psychological skills that sports psychology can contribute to developing among students in a physical education lesson. Identifying the methods that can be used in teaching sports psychology in schools. Identifying the impact of using psychology. Sports in developing the psychological skills of students in the education lesson. The importance of this study is that it contributes to increasing awareness of the importance of sports psychology in sports education. It helps teachers and coaches use sports psychology methods in teaching physical education. This study relies on the descriptive approach, which aims to describe the phenomenon to be studied. The necessary data for the study will be collected through interviews with teachers and trainers in physical education schools. Distribution of questionnaires to students in physical education schools. Conclusions: There is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of psychological skills in the skill of adapting to change, as males obtained a higher average score. . This difference can be explained by several possible reasons, including: As for the difference between the average scores of psychological skills in driving skill, this difference may be due to the same reasons mentioned above. Additionally, social expectations may play a role in this difference, as males are generally expected to be leaders. Based on the results, the following recommendations can be made: The need to enhance students’ psychological skills through physical education programs. This can be achieved by including sports psychology content in physical education programs, using teaching methods that focus on developing psychological skills, and providing opportunities for students to practice psychological skills in a safe and stimulating sports environment. The need to focus on developing the skill of adapting to change among students. This can be achieved by providing opportunities for students to deal with changes in the sporting environment, such as changes in rules or competitors. The need to develop students' leadership skills. This can be achieved by providing opportunities for students to lead in sporting activities, such as leading a team or organizing a sporting event.
