Abstract

The research underscores the importance of the effectiveness of the inverted thinking strategy using cooperative exercises, which seems to be more efficient. The strategy presents a different approach for female students in learning the skill of dribbling in football. Integrating the strategy with accompanying cooperative exercises enhances students' ability to assess matters from various perspectives and analyze thoughts deeply while learning dribbling skills.

This approach encourages students to think in reverse, considering causes and effects, patterns, and tendencies during the execution of dribbling skills. This, in turn, fosters critical thinking, providing students with the opportunity to explore non-traditional solutions to problems and challenges encountered in the learning process.

The research addresses the urgent need to enhance the teaching of football skills, particularly dribbling, using teaching strategies employed in football courses. It emphasizes the integration of bold strategies with cooperative exercises that blend thinking and harmony, aligning with the specificity of the skill. This contributes to expediting the learning process and achieving valuable results during the teaching process.

The primary research objectives include the development of cooperative exercises for female students to learn football dribbling skills, assessing the effectiveness of the inverted thinking strategy using cooperative exercises for female students learning football dribbling skills, and identifying moral differences between the controlled and experimental groups in subsequent tests.

Research hypotheses indicate statistically significant differences between the results of pre- and post-tests for both the controlled and experimental groups in learning football dribbling skills for female students. Additionally, there are statistically significant differences in the post-test results between the controlled and experimental groups, favoring the experimental group.

The researcher employed an experimental approach with matched controlled and experimental groups, utilizing pre- and post-tests to align with the nature of the problem. The research population and sample consisted of first-year female students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Science at Thi Qar University.

The findings revealed significant statistical differences between the pre- and post-test results for both the controlled and experimental groups in learning football dribbling skills for female students. Notably, the experimental group, implementing the inverted thinking strategy with cooperative exercises, showed superior results in the post-tests compared to the controlled group.

In conclusion, teaching with the inverted thinking strategy using cooperative exercises proved effective in instructing female students in football dribbling skills.
