Abstract

An honest test measures the characteristic to be measured in order to give honest results that reflect what was measured. There are several types of honesty that researchers use for the purpose of knowing the validity of the tests nominated to measure the variables of their study. Abilities are measured in a way. Directly, including characteristics that are measured indirectly and using statistical methods and laws that differ according to the type of validity used. The current study was concerned with clarifying the statistical discrepancy between methods for calculating different types of validity by relying on scores and values ​​derived from statistical methods for calculating validity in two ways (hypothetic construct validity and discriminant validity) for some Combined tests that measure the most important motor and skill abilities. The research problem was a research recommendation that the researcher adopted as a research problem and conducting research steps in accordance with scientific research to reach appropriate solutions that serve researchers and in selecting the appropriate validity for their tests used, whether they are standardized tests, new tests, or even modified tests in their scientific research as a scientific step that may contribute to developing and facilitating Research work from the statistical side. The study aimed to contrast the value of hypothetical construct validity and the discriminant validity value of some composite composite tests to measure the most important abilities (motor and skill). The researcher used the descriptive approach and the comparative survey method to suit the nature of the research, on a sample of advanced players numbering (24) and (18) players from The youth represent the Diyala Handball Club, After applying tests to measure the study variables, processing the values ​​statistically using the statistical package, and displaying and analyzing the results, the researcher concluded.
