Journal Description

The University of Thi-Qar Journal for Sciences of Physical Education (UTJSPE) is a scholarly,  Published by University of Thi-Qar / College of Sciences of Physical Education, it is open-access journal, and all content is made freely available to readers upon publication. An anonymous peer review system is used to ensure quality publication. The journal publishes an issue every month of the year and publishes original articles in the fields of sports science. The University of Thi-Qar Journal of Physical Education Sciences is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY) license. We use Turnitin to prevent plagiarism and ensure the originality of the articles submitted to us.

Terms and Conditions for Accepting Publication in the Journal

* Below are the conditions for publishing in our journal:

1. The journal accepts research papers in Arabic and English, but publication is only permitted in English.

2. Publication in this journal is not limited to the editorial board and faculty members at the University of Thi-Qar. It is open to all instructors and researchers in the colleges and departments of physical education and sports sciences inside and outside Iraq.

3. The journal only accepts research that is original and has not been previously published. Published research papers are not permitted to be republished in other fields.

4- Subscriptions, evaluation, and publication fees should be sent to the Treasurer at the following address:

5- Researchers from within Iraq should send publication fees in Iraqi currency, amounting to (125,000) one hundred thousand dinars. Researchers from outside the country should send amounts in US dollars, amounting to (100) one hundred dollars or its equivalent per research.

6- Research papers should be printed on one side of the paper, using A4 paper, leaving a space of (1.5 cm) on each side. The font should be (Times New Roman), font size (16), and the researcher's name, email address, and affiliation, if any, should be (14). The another text should be font size (12).

8- The research paper should be arranged as follows:

The first page should include the title of the research, the researcher's name, his/her work location, and the email address of the submitter.

The second page contains a summary of the research, not exceeding 100 words for each language (Arabic and English). It must include:
The title of the research.
The importance of the research.
The objectives of the research.
The areas of the research.
The main conclusions.
The research includes an introduction, the importance of the research, the research problem, objectives, hypotheses, and research procedures. It also includes a presentation and discussion of the results, conclusions, and recommendations. References are arranged alphabetically, along with appendices, if any. The research reference system must be in the IEEE  system.

9- The research must include key words  in Arabic or English. Contact phone numbers and email addresses must be provided for all researchers.
