Personality traits and their relationship with motivational traits among the players of the Islamic University teams in Najaf

The importance of the work lies in the fact that we can provide a scientific method and a measurement method that helps the volleyball coach to identify the personality traits and motivational traits of the players of the Islamic University teams and the extent of this effect on the results, and the purpose of the research is to identify a relationship between personality traits and motivational traits of the players of the Islamic University teams in Najaf, and the research imposed a correlation between personality traits and motivational traits among the players of the Islamic University teams in Najaf, the researchers used the descriptive approach in the method of relational relations due to the For its suitability and the nature of the current study, the research population included the players of the physical education and sports sciences teams at the Islamic University, which numbered (100) players, and the sample was selected by the comprehensive inventory method of the community, the researchers concluded that the players of the Islamic University teams in Najaf province are characterized by a good to very good level in the scale of personality traits and motivational traits that were applied, and the researchers reached conclusions according to the results that showed the correlation between the research variables (personality traits and motivational traits). There is a significant correlation between these variables, which is a direct correlation coefficient, i.e. there is a direct relationship between motivational traits and personality traits, and this is a good indicator for the players of the Islamic University teams in Najaf Governorate, and the researchers recommended the adoption of the Personality Traits and Motivational Traits Scales as a tool to measure the personality traits and motivational traits of the players of the Islamic University teams in Najaf Governorate, the possibility of using the Personality Traits and Motivational Traits Scales as a research tool in their researches and studies related to the research sample, developing and enhancing personality traits.
