الملخص
This research aimed to determine the degree of clarity and comprehensiveness of the educational objectives set in the faculties of physical education and sports sciences. It also aimed to evaluate the suitability of the curriculum to the professional and future life of students. Specifically, it aimed to reveal their level of professional satisfaction, and to investigate the correlation between the clarity of educational objectives and the level of suitability of the curriculum to the professional life and professional satisfaction of students. It also aimed to determine the extent to which each of the clarity of educational objectives and the suitability of the curriculum to the professional life contributes to predicting the level of professional satisfaction among students of faculties of physical education and sports sciences. The descriptive approach was employed using survey and correlation methods. The research population included students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, for the academic year (2024-2025), numbering (980) males and females. The researcher selected a random sample that included (340) males belonging to the third and fourth academic stages. This sample was divided into three subgroups for the exploratory study, statistical analysis, and final application. To collect data, the researcher developed three tools: the first to measure the level of clarity of educational objectives, the second to measure the level of curriculum relevance to professional life, and the third to measure students' level of professional satisfaction. After applying the three tools, collecting the final results, and processing them statistically, the study revealed a strong, statistically significant positive correlation between the clarity of educational objectives and professional satisfaction among students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. This means that a higher level of clarity of educational objectives among students is significantly reflected in increased satisfaction with their major. The results also revealed a strong, statistically significant positive correlation between the relevance of the curriculum to professional life and professional satisfaction. This means that the more aligned the curriculum is with the requirements and needs of the labor market, the higher the level of student satisfaction with their major. The relevance of the curriculum also explains a significant proportion of the variance in professional satisfaction among students.
