Hormones play an important role in the metabolic processes in general of all cells of the body, especially those related to oxidation processes. These hormones facilitate the use of carbohydrates in the cells. They also help speed up metabolic processes and also intervene in regulating the body’s functions during physical effort. The hormone thyroxine is an enzyme. CPK and LDH are one of the hormones that work to raise the level of activities of the body's necessary systems.

The problem of the research lies in identifying more information about the effect of anaerobic effort on some biochemical indicators in some fencing players in order to benefit from it and take it into consideration during the training planning process. The research aims to identify the effect of anaerobic effort on the chemical indicators in some fencing players. The researchers assume that there are significant differences. Statistical significance for anaerobic effort at the level of the indicators studied among fencing players.
While the researchers concluded that anaerobic effort has an effect on the secretion of the hormone thyroxine and the effectiveness of enzymes (CPK, LDH).
