The importance of the research lies in using the format model (4mat) in learning the skills of tapping and shooting forward jump in handball for students for the purpose of addressing the differences between students and making them positive during the learning process. The problem of the research is when using the format model (4mat) does it have an effect in learning my skill? Dribbling and shooting from jumping forward in handball for students? The study aimed to prepare educational units according to the format model (4mat) in reducing cognitive failure and learning the skills of tapping and shooting from jumping forward in handball for students. The population and sample of the research included second-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al Ain University, in two divisions for the purpose of application, one division (B) learns according to the model under study, and (C) learns according to the method followed by the teacher. The most important conclusions were that the use of the format model (4mat) in the educational units achieved a clear improvement in learning the skills of tapping and shooting from jumping forward in handball for students. The most important recommendations are to emphasize the use of the Format model (4mat) within educational units because of its positive impact on learning the skills of striking and aiming from jumping forward with handball for students.
