Abstract

        The importance of the research lies in the fact that analytical thinking has a clear role in the level of performance during training and competition, and because it has a major role in raising the level in order to reach advanced results, and for the purpose of predicting this, there are several variables that influence and affect them, and it is the concept or process of analytical thinking that It is considered a cognitive matter and is limited to the player’s experience, which prompted the researcher to study the subject of analytical thinking. Research objectives: Building and applying a measure of analytical thinking for players in the Iraqi handball Premier League for the season. Identifying the level of areas of analytical thinking among the players of the Premier Handball League in Iraq for the season. As for the areas of research: The human field: Players of the Premier Handball League in Iraq for the season. Temporal domain: 10/10/2022 until January 24, 2023. Spatial domain: Iraqi club halls and stadiums. Conclusions: It was reached to build an analytical thinking scale for players in the Premier League of handball in Iraq, and it is worthy of measuring analytical thinking in its four domains (focus, attention - Perception - decision making – interpretation)
