Constructivism is organizing the education process in a way that allows the learner to form his own cognitive structure through educational situations that stimulate his thinking, which leads to stimulating his cognitive structure and motivating him to engage in intentional activity to compare previous knowledge and new knowledge in learning situations. The importance of the research is that it is a scientific attempt to use A renewed model of constructivist theory models that may help in determining training methods and methods appropriate to the educational situation to lead learners to the desired educational results and develop them through the development of thinking, exploration, and the development of motor and skill performance.
As for the problem of the research, it came from the researcher’s observation of a weakness in the level of skill performance among students of the College of Physical Education at Al Ain University, and also the researcher’s observation of some practical lessons, which may sometimes neglect attention to the general and specific characteristics of the students. Therefore, the researcher decided to use the Bybee model in the volleyball lesson. Due to the lack of application of this model in the practical field, as for the research objectives, the research included three objectives, the most important of which is preparing an educational curriculum using the Bybee model to teach the skill of defending the court with volleyball to the second stage students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Al Ain University. The research community is also represented by the second stage students in the College of Education The number of students in the physical and sports sciences at Al Ain University is (91) male and female students. The sample was chosen intentionally, and they are the students of the second stage, numbering (46) students out of (57) after (5) students who failed, teachers, and game players were excluded, and (6) Students for their participation in the exploratory experiment, and thus the sample formed a percentage of (54.50%) of the research population. Then the research procedures were completed. As for presenting, analyzing and discussing the results he reached through applying the Bybee model and the results he obtained, they were presented in tables and the results were discussed. As explained in the research, in addition to that, the researcher reached the most important conclusion in the research. The researcher also reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which were interest in using this model in learning, encouraging those in charge of the educational process in the sports field, and staying away from the methods followed that may bring boredom.
