Abstract

The importance of the research comes through the use of the competitive method in learning, which pushes the student to exert the greatest possible effort in raising the level of scouting skills, and through the researcher’s experience in the field of scouting education and its importance in schools as it is the first link in the chain of correct building of students’ abilities. Note that learning Scouting skills are not performed appropriately, and the exercises used in learning them lack the aspect of excitement and suspense, which is considered the main driver towards learners’ interest in performance. Therefore, the researcher decided to use competitive skill exercises to learn some basic scouting skills for second-year intermediate students as an attempt to find a way. It is effective in students learning these skills in an appropriate manner, and the researcher used the experimental method in equal groups. The research sample consisted of second-year middle school students, numbering (40) students. After completing the field experiment, the researcher concluded that the method of the competitive method, whose exercises are similar to the conditions of competition In fact, it contributed to increasing students’ motivation towards performance, which contributed to learning scouting skills.
